Q: What if I don't eat meat, can I still do the 6 Week Body Makeover?
A: Absolutely. While it is harder to get adequate amounts of protein from non-animal sources, it can certainly be done. If you are a vegetarian, you have basically three choices for protein: egg whites, tofu or a protein drink. To use them on your plan, simply consider them all Protein A's and use the same quantity that is recommended in your Custom Eating Plan (i.e., substitute 4 egg whites or 4 ounces of tofu for 4 ounces of Chicken). The one caution about tofu is that it contains estrogen, which is a hormone that can slow weight loss, so you may want to consider adding some Rapid Results Meals to your custom eating plan. If you want to use powdered protein, the recommendation is a combination of whey protein and soy protein isolate.
