I do Tae Bo. Can I use this as my Fat Burning Cardio?

Tae Bo is actually a fantastic cardiovascular workout. However, it is a bit too strenuous to work as your Fat Burning Cardio workout. The type of workout Tae Bo gives you is not a fat burning workout. It burns sugar rather than fat. Your Fat Burning workout is very specific to the 6 Week Body Makeover diet. You can use other workouts as your Fat Burning cardio, however, not all workouts burn the fat you need to burn.

A Little about Tae Bo

Tae Bo is an exercise routine created by karate champion Billy Blanks. Tae Bo combines music with a very specific workout routine. Tae Bo has become quite popular over the years with its home video workout, but in regards to the 6 Week Body Makeover, it doesn’t burn the fat you need. Tae Bo is a great cardio workout but it burns sugar rather than fat. As effective as Tae Bo is for some people, if you want to follow the 6 Week Body Makeover diet and eat more and work out less, Tae Bo is not a viable solution for your Fat Burning Cardio.

Tae Bo and Other Exercise Routines that Don’t Count as Your Fat Burning Cardio

Some workouts, as effective as they may be, just don’t work with the 6 Week Body Makeover diet. Since the Body Makeover diet combines diet and exercise to help you reach your goals, you need to make sure you follow your diet and Body Sculpting routine closely. This also counts for your Fat Burning Cardio routine. Tae Bo won’t work as your Fat Burning routine specifically because it burns sugars in your body rather than fat. Other workouts that are not recommended as your Fat-Burning cardio are Stair Climbing, Stair Step machines and Climbing machines, Elliptical and Rowing machines, Aerobic Dancing and Aerobic Step classes, Boxing, Kick Boxing and other martial arts, Circuit Training with weights or machines, and Power Cycling classes. For your Fat Burning Cardio, just stick with long, slow, rhythmic workouts, like paced walking, slow jogging, or stationary bicycling.

If not Tae Bo, Then What?
